Trace Adkins is getting back on the road for summer 2014.
Today (May 29), the country music star announced that he will be playing 32 shows in just as many cities this summer, from June 5 to Sept. 26, according to Radio.com.
The expansive tour, which largely takes place at casinos and fairs, will be Adkins' first return to the live circuit since his rehab stint earlier this year. Adkins, who had previously been sober from alcohol for years, relapsed while on board a country music cruise in January and reportedly punched a Trace Adkins impersonator. He then left the cruise and entered a treatment center.
"I'm excited, recharged and ready to get back on the road. I owe a debt of gratitude to everyone for the outpouring of encouragement and support over the past few months. It's hard to put into words how much comfort you take from hearing 'We've got your back.' So these shows are for you guys. Thanks," he said in a statement.
