Miike Snow are gearing up to release their new album iii and a new single has been released in preparation titled "I Feel The Weight." With only two singles released from the LP, fans have already been treated to a wide range of different tracks from the album, ranging from the horn-filled, DJ Premieresque "Heart Is Full" and the straight ahead, classic Miike Snow dance-pop song "Genghis Khan." Now "I Feel The Weight" occupies a new category of track from the LP.

"I Feel The Weight" is a slower, more melancholic love ballad from the trio of Bloodshy & Avant and Andrew Wyatt. This is immediately apparent from the opening four bars with the slow tempo of the percussion and the stripped back elements. They add some soft synths and pitched up vocals in the hook for extra effect.

Wyatt sings about a lost love in the hook.

"And it's only me to blame / Because I pushed the truth away / And pretended to be happy / tonight I have to say I feel the weight / I feel the weight / I feel the weight of a love that's gone away, I feel the weight," coos the singer.

The song comes with a simple video of a woman creating a clay sculpture of their signature animal, the jackalope, which is featured on a lot of their artwork and in videos.

The group will be heading out on tour for a large portion of the spring and summer, taking on a fair amount of festival gigs and then a whole host of theater shows across North America. Read up on where you can see them if tickets are still available here.

"I Feel The Weight" will be released tomorrow, before the album iii is released on March 4. Stream the single below via I-D.
