The Super Bowl 50 halftime show was already jam-packed with performances from Coldplay, Beyoncé and Bruno Mars, but even before the Denver Broncos took on the Carolina Panthers, one of music's biggest acts, Lady Gaga, took the stage to perform (and slay) the National Anthem.

Gaga looked both stunning and patriotically appropriate from head to tie. Her custom Gucci pantsuit was a sight to see, adorned with thousands upon thousands of ruby red sequins, making the pop superstar sparking like a firework. Gaga kept with the red, white and blue theme with her white blonde hair, shimmering red eyeshadow and custom Gucci stars-and-striped platform heels.

Though Gaga's outfit was a spectacle enough, it didn't shine nearly as brightly as her National Anthem performance. Gaga tapped in to her classical training for the "Star Spangled Banner" and kept her rendition strong, concise, loud and proud.

Of course, Gaga couldn't help herself and added just the right amount of flare on the song's massively famous high note, adding a small run up the scale. She also ended the song with an extra "home of the brave" and a thankful "God bless America."

Lady Gaga joins a long and prestigious group of Super Bowl National Anthem performers. In the past, everyone from Idina Menzel to Kelly Clarkson to Christina Aguilera, Carrie Underwood, Mariah Carey, Beyoncé and Whitney Houston have taken on the "Star Spangled Banner."

This appearance also marks one of three big Gaga gigs in February. She's also due to perform a David Bowie tribute at the Grammys and will sing her Oscar-nominated track "Til It Happens to You" at the Academy Awards.
