Congratulations are most certainly in order.

It's been nearly two years since Psy's "Gangnam Style" video went viral and news is the visual for the catchy tune recently hit two billion views.

According to the Associated Press, "Gangnam Style—which actually has more than two billion views—is the first YouTube video to surpass this mark.

The views jumped passed the milestone number around shortly before midnight EDT Friday (May 30).

In addition to his success with "Gangnam Style," Psy holds the record for most overall views and most views in a day with 38 million for his follow-up "Gentleman."

When it comes to YouTube's list of top videos, Psy's number of views is unmatched.

Justin Bieber's "Baby" is the only other billion-plus video at 1.04 billion views while funny home video "Charlie bit my finger - again!" is a distant third, pulling in 711 million views.

"2 billion views...they are very honorable and very burdensome numbers," Psy said via a statement. "With appreciation, I will come back soon with more joyful contents!!"

Billboard reports that YouTube celebrated Psy's milestone with little dancing animated versions of the South Korean pop star around the view counter.

And for added reassurance that he isn't just a one hit wonder, Psy has been working on a full-length LP.

He recently filmed a new music video with Snoop Dogg and fellow K-pop superstar G-Dragon.
