Martin Garrix appears to be setting a worrying trend for his former label Spinnin' Records. Two other artists signed to the label and its management arm MusicAllStars Management have announced that they are also leaving. Dutchman and close friend of Martin Garrix, Julian Jordan is one of those to leave and Megaton Records founder Mike Hawkins is the second.

Julian Jordan shared the news first on Facebook this week, saying that he had been trying to sign a new deal with the label and management company over the past few months, but they weren't able to come to terms. "I've never felt more creative," he proclaims at the end of his statement.

I’d like to inform all of my fans and followers that i won’t continue my deal with Spinnin’ Records and their management...

Julian Jordan had been with the label all of his career, so this is a bit of a shock.

Danish producer and DJ, Mike Hawkins followed only a few hours later with an announcement of his own, saying the decision was "mutual."

Continuing on what I announced last week, I would like to inform fans, followers, friends and other supporters that...

Mike Hawkins had become part of the Spinnin' Records stable of artists in the past few years, but was always a sort of free agent with signing his music.

Hawkins' manager, Dave Frank stated to Billboard that the split had been in the works "for a while."

These statements seem a bit more definite than what Martin Garrix said when he first publically annulled his deal with Spinnin' Records. The label then came back and stated that the deal was not officially over and in fact they were still in the process of completing the separation with a potential for legal action in the future. Things have gotten messy between the two parties with legal action being taken by both sides and a PR war waging on the edges.
