Gwen Stefani may not be a coach on season 10 of The Voice, but the "Make Me Like You" singer couldn't stay away from the NBC show for too long. After weeks of rumors, on Wednesday (Feb. 10), Stefani was confirmed to be the advisor for boyfriend Blake Shelton's team during the battle rounds.

The Voice made the big announcement on Access Hollywood during the filming for season 10's battle rounds. And, of course, Shelton and Stefani were full of flattering words for one another.

"You start thinking, who are the ultimate artists out there that you can get to mentor your team?" Shelton said with adoration in his voice. "I know we collaborate well together as coaches, so of course I would have her be my mentor. She's so smart and talented."

Stefani, of course, is no stranger to The Voice. She was a coach during seasons 7 and 9. She was also an advisor to Team Pharrell and Christina Aguilera during season 8.

Stefani isn't the only newly announced advisor to appear on The Voice this season. The original "Lady Marmalade" Patti LaBelle is also set to appear on the show as an advisor for Team Christina. Miley Cyrus will also appear on The Voice as a mentor to all teams during the knockouts.

The Voice will return on Feb. 29.
