CMT has just officially announced that Kip Moore will be the headliner for its CMT on Tour 2014: Up in Smoke this fall.

According to the CMT website, Moore will be joined by country newcomers Charlie Worsham and Sam Hunt.

The tour kicks off Sept. 25 in New York City and is slated to hit more than 20 cities through November.

Moore seems excited and anxious about his latest gig.

"We've been on the road pretty much nonstop for the past four years playing as much as we can, wherever we can," Moore said. "When we started out, sometimes there would only be five people at a show, and seeing the crowds grow over the years is really humbling and encouraging. And now to be teaming up with CMT for a tour is a really exciting moment in my career. We'll definitely be playing lots of songs from the new album out on the road, so it will be fun to test those out and see what the fans think."

The country singer has a couple other hurdles to cross before the tour, some exciting ones might we add.

Moore will perform his new single "Dirt Road" for the first time on television on Late Night with Seth Meyers during a special appearance tonight (June 2).

Tickets for selected dates on the CMT on Tour 2014: Up in Smoke tour go on sale Friday (June 6). For more information, visit the CMT on Tour page.
