Looks like famed dance icon and composer Giorgio Moroder is saying arrivederci to those two robots from France (for now, at least) and has started creating music for Cartoon Network. The Grammy Award winner was recently asked to apply his flawless talent to the network's sister channel Adult Swim and contribute exclusive music via Adult Swim Singles.

Singles is a series of weekly free downloads or streams hosted by Cartoon Network. Also asked to provide material to the 2014 Singles are the likes of Future, Run the Jewels, Deafheaven and more.

Moroder has been a legend in the music industry for quite some time in the realm of dance music, known largely for his use of the synthesizer, but he was recently introduced to a whole new generation thanks to the DJing duo from France, Daft Punk. Moroder collaborated with the group on their latest album, Random Access Memory, on the track "Giorgio by Moroder."

The Adult Swim Singles kicked off back in 2010 via the label Williams Street, with artists such as Liars, Freddie Gibbs and TV on the Radio contributing. The 2014 Singles will add Diarrhea Planet, Tim Hecker, Mastodon and more as contributors.

Each track can be streamed or downloaded on the Adult Swim Singles page on the week of its release, and at the end of its run, all songs will be able to be downloaded. Check out schedule below:
