Say it ain't so! Jordin Sparks and Sage the Gemini have reportedly called it quits after 10 months of dating. Desperate for that old thing back, the rapper took to his personal Instagram account on Tuesday (Feb. 16) to express how much he misses her. The heartfelt message was an obvious plea to give their relationship another chance, showing he's willing to fight for her love.
Although the young couple basked in the honeymoon phase for months, trouble soon entered the relationship when trust issues became a topic of discussion, according to E! News. The 26-year-old "Battlefield" singer reportedly began second-guessing Sage's loyalty to her and his actions apparently weren't doing anything to calm her wondering mind. After enduring a messy breakup with long-term boyfriend Jason Derulo in 2014, Sparks just didn't want the past to repeat itself.
In an attempt to win his girl back, Sage did what any millennial would do: pour his heart out on social media. The 23-year-old "Gas Pedal" rapper is no stranger to opening up to his fans on Instagram. He posted an old photo of them together, accompanied by a lengthy message filled with memories of happier times. He even mentioned how beautiful he thought she looked at Clive Davis' pre-Grammy party. His Instagram message has since been deleted.

"Can't sit here and act industry Iike this shit don't hurt me," Sage wrote on his Instagram. "You the only girl I can call at 3 in the morning and you'll answer no problem. You the only girl that can wake up out of a dead sleep and get me some water because I was coughing in my sleep the only girl that loves me the way you were supposed to."
Sparks and Sage were first romantically linked in April 2015. The two were later confirmed as a couple and were reportedly "taking it slow." In a July interview with E! News, Sparks gushed about her new boo, calling him an "amazing guy" and admitting that he "cherishes" her.
Sage had nothing but good words to say about Sparks in his open letter as well. He spoke candidly about how she comforted him in ways that no woman ever has. Sage then ends the letter asking Sparks to call him back, so they can work things out.
"But yea this s*** is crazy i just wanna tell you I'm still being a good boy just in case you come to your senses. Valentine's Day was supposed to be a special day I wanted that to be our anniversary because it's your grandparents and maybe we could've double dated remember? Please call me back I just want like a hug and a kiss or something. Sincerely Dominic Wynn Woods."
Fans in support of the two reuniting have begun to flood Sparks' Instagram account with comments of phone emojis and "call him back," hoping to encourage Sparks to change her mind. Sparks has yet to respond (publicly, at least) to his message.
