RÜFÜS or RÜFÜS DU SOL as they are known here in the United States have unveiled a new remix for their new label owners Odesza and the Portland duo's recent single "It's Only." The remix comes after a the Australian trio's sophomore album Bloom, released last month and ahead of an upcoming world tour that will kick off next month in Europe.
The trio released their sophomore album through Odesza's label Foreign Family Collective and have joined them on tour. This connection will only grow through this remix and with an upcoming Red Rocks show in June which Odesza is headlining.
The new remix takes full advantage of Zyra's soothing female vocals and then gives the track a clubbier feel to it. They strip back some of the spacey synths that Odesza have become known for and go a bit deeper with bass stabs and more percussion underneath.
RÜFÜS DU SOL will kick off their tour in Europe next month with a rash of sold out shows across the continent and then head to North America for some gigs in Boston, Nashville, Atlanta, New York City and Detroit. They also have some festival shows at Coachella and Firefly.
