Ab-Soul is the latest to be featured on Jay Z's Life+Times series DECODED and he took it upon himself to try something that has never been done before. The TDE rapper used lines from the Jigga Man to break down his own bars.

In the nearly four-minute clip, Soul decodes a verse from "Stigmata." The track features Action Bronson and Asaad.

Music Times recently reported that the Carson MC released the album art for These Days..., along with the album's release date and a "Stigmata" teaser video.

In the video, Soul can be seen wearing a crown of thorns carrying a cross as he raps through the desert.

Soul broke down the concept of "Stigmata" during an earlier interview with Life+Times.

"I think that "Stigmata" embodies the project," he said. "It's like a cornerstone of the whole joint."

He also went onto explain how Nas' "The Cross" was a great influence.

"How the song came about, in all honesty, was that I wanted to do a song about stigma," Soul said. "I ended up looking up the word stigmata, thinking that it was an extension of the word stigma. After looking it up I realized that I had already been dancing around this Jesus concept within my lyrics. I had already had this concept strung in, so when I looked up the definition of stigmata, it just all made sense. It only made sense for me to title it "Stigmata." Also, I always like to reference my favorite shit, whether it's new or old, in a manner where you know I did it and the "The Cross" reference made perfect sense."
