The details of the much-anticipated new Spoon album are finally coming together. After teasing something entitled "R.I.P." for weeks, the indie rock band revealed the 10-song tracklist for its new album They Want My Soul as well as the album cover and studio version of lead single "Rent I Pay."

As pictured above, the album artwork for They Want My Soul features a fittingly ominous looking female hand, palm upturned, cupping some sort of otherworldly light force. A fuzzy blue background gives the image ethereal vibes, playing into the album's haunting title.

As for the new single, "Rent I Pay" finally received an "unofficial video" and an official studio version. Featuring a heavy-handed bacj beat and a steady, driving mid-tempo beat, "Rent I Pay" sets the stage for a new era of Spoon.

The fuzzy hooks and grooving guitars are there, but there's something notably mature about this track, be it the roaring vocals or the constrained instrumentation.

Meanwhile, the music video features little more than a shadowy Britt Daniel playing behind a beige curtain.

"Rent I Pay" is just one of 10 songs from They Want My Soul. Peak the full album tracklisting below, via SPIN:
