Reports confirm that aspiring rapper Bankroll Fresh was shot and killed outside of a popular recording studio in Atlanta, Georgia earlier this month. Several fans and fellow hip-hop superstars continue mourning Fresh's tragic death on Twitter.
According to Fox 5 Atlanta, the 28-year-old "Real Trapper" emcee (real name, Trentavious White) was attacked on Friday (March 4). The Fulton County Medical Examiner told People that Fresh later died after being rushed to a local hospital. As of this writing, authorities have no further information on suspects or possible motive.
City police were called to Street Execs Studios located in Northwest Atlanta, where they noticed a large crowd of people "fleeing" the scene. As described in this statement:
"Shortly after units arrived, it was learned that at least one victim was shot and was transported away from the scene in an unknown vehicle."
Over 50 shell casings were found in and outside of the studio. Although details still remain unknown, local residents tell NBC affiliate WXIA that Street Execs usually attracts trouble and violence around the neighborhood.
Fresh ultimately passed away from severe gunshot wounds at Hughes Spalding hospital.
