Iggy Azalea has put off her wedding to fiance Nick Young for her tour, which is slated to run through the end of 2016.

Azalea has already picked out her dress and planned the honeymoon, but love appears to be taking a backseat to her career. The Aussie rapper also just released her latest single, “Team,” to her fans.

The rapper detailed the reasons behind postponing the wedding in an interview of KIIS-FM’s show On Air With Ryan Seacrest this past Friday (March 18). Her fiance Young is a player for the Los Angeles Lakers basketball team.

“I’m planning a wedding. Actually, I moved my wedding ‘cause I have to tour, so my wedding plans are changing,” Azalea said in her interview with Seacrest (via Billboard). “It was going to happen at the end of the year, but now I have to go to work, so we’ll probably have to wait until the end of the next basketball season to do that. So that is kind of a bit sucky, but it’s all right.”

She elaborated on what Young wants to have input on regarding the wedding, the menu, saying, “Nick only cares about the food, and we’re not up to that yet.” She further said that her fiance has been “really awesome and great and totally understanding and doesn’t mind,” on her decision to postpone the wedding. According to Azalea he comes from the standpoint of, “He’s like, ‘I can be a bachelor for longer,’ and he’s really milking it.”

Young is certainly supportive of his fiancee and predicted that her album, Digital Distortion, will be the best of 2016. Azalea’s last album, The New Classic, was released back in 2014. Young’s support of her music is likely helpful, as she has faced some criticism in the hip-hop world since The New Classic was released. She recently expressed that Digital Distortion will have more of a pop edge. At the Soul Train Awards this year, Azalea was even dissed by Erykah Badu for not producing true hip-hop.
