Despite rumors of Justin Bieber hooking up with Kourtney Kardashian, it appears that the pop star's heart still belongs to previous girlfriend Selena Gomez as he shared a throwback picture of himself kissing the singer. The image posted on the "Love Yourself" singer's Instagram account was barraged with comments from the fans who were apparently feeling hopeful that the two will get back together.
The 62.4 million followers of Bieber went wild after he shared the old photo of them locking lips. The photo was captioned with "Feels." But the fans even got more feels when the "Hands To Myself" singer commented "Perfect" on the image.
Gomez and Bieber dated back in 2011 and officially ended their relationship in 2014. They have remained good friends even after the breakup and were also seen together.
The "Same Old Love" singer admitted that she got hurt after the breakup, saying, "At first I didn’t care. To me it was: I’m 18, I have a boyfriend, we look cute together, we like that. Then I got my heart broken and I cared. Because people had no idea what was going on, but everywhere it was a million different things. I was kind of in a corner, banging my head against the wall. I didn’t know where to go," she said, according to Mirror.
Meanwhile, Bieber revealed that he loves Gomez "dearly" and that he will "never stop loving her" and will "never stop checking on her."
"I'm proud of the woman she is today. When you love someone that much, even if something comes between you, it's a love that never really dies," Bieber said, according to People.
This is not the first time that Bieber shared a photo with Gomez. Back in December, he shared a picture of himself and Gomez on a bike and another one during the premiere of Hotel Transylvania in September 2012, Billboard reported.
