After expressing her stand on critics of breastfeeding and sharing other personal experiences in her shows for her recent London tour, Adele once again opened up, telling her fans she grew a beard while pregnant.

The "Rolling in the Deep" singer previously talked about her twerking skills and about her family. Now she dished about her facial hair during her pregnancy at her concert at SSE Hydro in Glasgow.

"When I got pregnant, I had so much testosterone in me that I grew a beard,” Adele said, according to The Mirror. "I only cropped it last night. It's actually true. I'm not telling a joke. I actually have a beard, but I'm proud of it. I call it Larry."

During pregnancy, women's androgen levels increase. Androgens are hormones that stimulate development of male characteristics. Because of that, women may experience thicker and faster hair growth during pregnancy.

The 27-year-old Grammy winner added that her longtime partner, Simon Konecki, "got a good beard" and that "he trims it sometimes in the summer."

"I do have a beard myself, so I can understand when it gets hot in the summer," the "Set Fire to the Rain" singer added.

Meanwhile, Today.com reached out to Dr. Jacques Moritz, an obstetrician/gynecologist at Weill Cornell Medical Centerin New York about Adele's hairy story.

"I think Adele is probably overexaggerating the beard issue," Dr. Moritz said. "But, I will tell you that hair starts to pop out of strange places during pregnancy — around the nipples, more hair on the head and everywhere in general due to the hormones."

Adele has said motherhood is the "greatest thing" she has done, describing it as "hard but phenomenal."

According to ETOnline, when 3-year-old Angelo came to watch his mother perform in a concert for the first time, Adele was overcome with emotion when she called him from the stage, saying, "I love you so much, peanut!"

Adele is promoting her album 25 on tour.
