Dixon and his fellow Innervisions boss Ame took over the BBC Radio One's famed Friday night Essential Mix series this past weekend. The pair were announced as one of the rare new double additions to the series, which is normally just helmed by one artist, but has started to see more pairings like Eric Prydz and Jeremy Olander last year. They did not hold back in their two hours with a string of nearly a dozen unreleased, unidentified white label tracks that should be released on their label at some point.
The pair craft a gripping 2 hour mix with tracks from the likes of Bicep, Mr. Fingers, Drugs & Chateau Flight, Arttu and Lazaros. However the tracks will leave the lasting memory for most fans will be those unreleased tracks that fans are going to bother Dixon and Ame for over the next several months.
Both Dixon and Ame delivered Essential Mixes in 2013, so it is fitting to have them come together for a joint session three years later.
