Olga Bell has made some incredibly forward-thinking music in the past, but her upcoming album, TEMPO, which has a May 27 2016 release date through One Little Indian, is a new direction for her. The songwriter, who recently caught a lot of attention as a collaborator on Dirty Projectors' last studio album Swing Lo Magellan, revealed that her new songs are focused more on the physical aspect of music. This is exemplified in the leading single, "Randomness," which is furthered by the newly released music video featuring some fun choreography. Watch this music video below.

The single premiered around the Internet last month, leading to some excitement building around the electronica artist's inspired new direction of songwriting. In "Randomness," Bell accomplishes her aim of creating physical music.

In a press release that accompanied the single last month (via Stereogum), Bell shared details about the song.

"Lyrically, 'Randomness' is about trying to move more and think less," she said. "It's a funny thing, actively trying to let go, to just exist in a space and turn off your mind and self-consciousness and quotidian concerns."

The video for "Randomness" premiered over at i-D, with an accompanying interview with the artist. When watching the music video, one can't help but think back to the '90s era of choreographed dance tunes that would take over the clubs. It certainly looks like Olga Bell has created some physical music.
