A new collection of cover songs from singer-songwriter Holly Miranda is set for release on May 13, 2016, through Dangerbird Records entitled Party Trick. This 6-song EP features a number of covers, deriving its name from how Tegan Quin of Tegan & Sara describes Miranda's talent of turning any song into a sad one. If you don't take her word for it, check out Miranda's cover of Drake's "Hold on, We're Going Home" now!

This Nothing was the Same track is a song easily covered by any artist, but Miranda's soulful voice mixed with the layers of minimalist music is infectious. We're sure you love the original version of the Drake track, but this is a great taste of what Holly Miranda can do with another artist's song. This cover should get you excited for the new EP coming out next month.
