Taylor Swift's Instagram video in which she sang Drake and Future's What A Time To Be Alive mixtape song "Jumpman" while running and then falling on a treadmill has turned into quite the viral video hit. This social media post, which is really a commercial Apple Music, was posted on April 1, 2016, but the effect it's had is no joke. According to reports, "Jumpman" sales have jumped by 431%!

The idea behind the commercial is that Apple Music is "distractingly addictive," which is why Swft takes a tumble on the treadmill while rapping the "Jumpman" verse, resembling plenty of Internet fail videos involving the piece of cardio workout equipment.

We previously reported on the commercial, but check it out again right here:

As of right now, the video has received about 1.4 million likes on the social media platform, which had clearly had an effect on the single. It's clear to see that Swift is one of the most influential music icons right now, and all she did was make a funny commercial!

"With an artist that's got 73 million followers on Instagram, that's bigger than NBC, CBS and Fox and the viewership of prime time combined," Apple Music's Head of Content Larry Jackson told AdWeek.

We're sure that neither Drake nor Future will respond to this news, but will gladly reap the rewards of Swift's Apple Music bump.

Swift recently surprised the audience at the 2016 GLAAD Media Awards over the weekend, presenting a special award to Orange is the New Black star Ruby Rose. Read our previous coverage of this news right here.
