After the first reunion concert of Guns 'N Roses, fans arewere even more excited to see the group play for more shows in their Not In This Lifetime tour. When frontman Axl Rose accidentally broke his ankle, he still promised fans that the show would go on and performed with guitarist Slash, and bassist Duff McKagan, for two Las Vegas shows.
The band's performance at the T-Mobile Arena, which is just blocks away from the Vegas Strip, was their third public performance and started with their song "It's So Easy."
Despite having a broken foot, Rose continued with the show, sitting on the throne of Dave Grohl. According to Rose, his use of Grohl's throne is a "good advertisement" for the Foo Fighters singer.
Rose suffered said injury during their first concert in Los Angeles. While playing with a broken ankle, his foot was covered with a black curtain.
"I wanna thank Dave Grohl for this; it was very nice of him. I've got nothing to do with this," he said according to News Hub. Rose also posted a message on Twitter expressing his gratitude to the Foo Fighters frontman saying, "HUGE THANK YOU to Dave Grohl for the use of his rock Throne! An amazing gesture! Words rn't enough!! Makes all the difference up there!"
Meanwhile, Alternative Nation reported that during the second Vegas show, the throne of Grohl was remodeled removing the Foo Fighters logo while roses and guns were added to it.
In their second show, the rock band also added "Don't Cry" to their set list while the audience was surprised when Rose exited and Duff belted out "Attitude," Rolling Stone reported.
