Grimes, born Claire Boucher, may have just released her new album Art Angels in November, but the "Flesh without Blood" singer already has another project in the works.

Speaking to Rolling Stone, Grimes revealed that she is "halfway done with another record." Talking about where these records came from, she said, "I'm not committing to anything, but I have a bunch of B sides I kind of want to finish. Plus, I've been making a bit of new music."

This next bunch of tracks will sound a bit different from those that appeared on Art Angels.

"With Art Angels, it was all like [growls]. This would be more chill vibes, downtempos, synth-y shit. That makes it sound boring. It's not boring," says Grimes.

She says its not a B-Sides album, but rather compares the LP to what Lana Del Rey did with her last two LPs, putting them out back-to-back.

"You know how Lana Del Rey put out Paradise Edition after Born to Die? It would be like that. There are songs I seriously considered for Art Angels, but they f*cked with the momentum when I tried to put them on the record."

It isn't clear when fans might see any of this music or in what form Grimes may decide to release all of these extra songs from her Art Angels recording process, but if she is already halfway done, it could be soon.

Grimes will have the opportunity to potentially unveil a few of these new songs live when she joins Florence + The Machine on tour next month for some arena shows in the United States.
