After a summer full of festivals hosting Outkast as their headliner, it's interesting to note that Atlanta's Music Midtown isn't one of them. Atlantians can rest easy knowing that the ATLiens will be performing two dates later during 2014, and the Music Midtown lineup ain't looking too shabby either.

Eminem and Jack White are among the biggest names on the list, but that pair is also making making appearances all over. Some groups that haven't made as many appearances at recent music festivals include John Mayer and the Zac Brown Band, plus Lorde and Iggy Azalea will bring plenty of fans to what we imagine aren't end-of-the-day showings. The Festival will take place at Atlanta's pretty sizable and generally pretty Piedmont Park on September 19-20.

And, if there's any reason why Music Midtown should be considered among the best festivals of all time, it's because they announced its lineup through a new video clip from the stars of Squidbillies, an off-kilter look at life in Georgia as seen from the perspective of redneck cephalopods on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim lineup.

The festival promises that more performers will be announced before the festival rolls around, but here's a look at what we're seeing so far: Eminem, The Zac Brown Band, John Mayer, Jack White, Lana Del Rey, Lorde , Iggy Azalea, Bastille, Run DMC, Gregg Allman, Fitz and The Tantrums, twenty one pilots, NEEDTOBREATHE, Mayer Hawthorne, Banks, The Strypes, Sleeper Agent, AER, Magic Man, Bear Hands, and Ron Pope.

Tickets go on sale June 28.
