One Direction members Harry Styles and Liam Payne may or may not know the alphabet, or so it seems in an adorable new video from the set of Sesame Street. Nearly five months after the "You and I" boy band first appeared on the children's show, new footage of Styles and Payne singing the ABCs with Bert hit the web, and it's predictably very cute.

Lounging on the set of the classic PBS show, Styles and Payne lounge with Bert, who prompts them to all sing the "ABCs" together. "You guys know the alphabet?" Bert asks, before Styles responds with a simple "Yeah." Payne then suggests "popping it out" a cappella style, and the trio then launch into the elementary song.

The sing-along goes mostly seamlessly, though the 1D members do cut themselves out of the song near the "W" part, in hopes of a crescendo from Bert, before coming together for a scattered but genuine ending.

Not everything can be perfect, and in the world of Sesame Street, that is a-OK!

The "ABCs" video comes roughly five months after One Direction appeared on the classic children's show Sesame Street. Joining dozens of major music stars throughout the years, 1D performed an ode to the letter U in January, "What Makes 'U' Useful," a clever play on "What Makes You Beautiful."

Watch that playful clip below, wherein you learn "U" is useful but not quite so prevalent in English...
