Willie Nelson has been touring this month with Kacey Musgraves and Alison Krauss. In a new interview with CelebStoner (via Radio.com), Nelson revealed that he and Musgraves are planning to collaborate on a record.

"Kacey and I are planning on doing a song together," he said. "An old song I wrote called 'You Sure This Is Where You Want to Be.' We're going to do some recording together and that's going to be cool."

As Radio.com points out, Nelson wrote the song with Buddy Emmons decades ago. It first appeared on his 1965 album Country Willie - His Own Songs under the title "Are You Sure." The song later appeared on the stripped-down 2003 collection Crazy: The Demo Sessions.

In 2013, Musgraves revealed via Facebook that she was a big fan of the song, calling it "two minutes and 13 seconds of the realest sh*t you'll ever hear. Never gets old."

Nelson also mentioned in the interview that he has enjoyed his time touring with Musgraves and Krauss. "I look forward to touring with those folks again one day," he said.

Musgraves finishes her stint on the tour at the end of June with Krauss staying on for dates in July (joined on some stops by Jason Isbell).

As Radio.com notes, Nelson dropped his latest album Band of Brothers a week ago but said in the interview that he has another project planned for release later this year called December Day.

"It's mostly me and sister [Bobbie Nelson] with a little harmonica and a little bass in there" he explained. "We're doing nine songs that I wrote and a couple of Irving Berlin songs — 'Alexander's Ragtime Band' and 'What'll Do.' It's coming out sometimes before the holidays, maybe October."
