The Rolling Stones are just the latest to voice their displeasure with the assumed Republican nominee for president of the United States of America, Donald Trump (it still doesn't feel real does it?). They are the latest band to ask the Donald to stop using their music on the campaign trail.

"The Rolling Stones have never given permission to the Trump campaign to use their songs and have requested that they cease all use immediately," the British band's publicist, Fran Curtis, told CNN in a statement Thursday.

Asked about the music snub this morning by CNBC, Trump seemed ok with it. "I have no problem with that. I like Mick Jagger," he said.

Trump played the band's song "Start Me Up" after his decisive win in Indiana that was the final blow to Ted Cruz's campaign that night and eventually John Kasich as well the following day.

He also played other tunes from the Stones like "You Can't Always Get What You Want" (a jab at the republican party establishment maybe?), when he announced his bid just about one year go.

The Rolling Stones are not the first to object to Trump using their music. Adele called him out for using her songs, "Skyfall" and "Rolling In The Deep."

At the time a spokesperson told CNN, "Adele has not given permission for her music to be used for any political campaigning."

Others like Neil Young, R.E.M. frontman Michael Stripe and Aerosmith's Steven Tyler have also sparred with Donald Trump over the use of their music.

These are the easy battles for Trump as he heads to the general election, but it probably won't be his last.
