Armin van Buuren has released the 2016 edition of annual A State of Trance compilation. The two-disc, 39-track behemoth of a album, Armin has chosen cuts from the likes of Omnia, Orjan Nilsen, Genix, Arty, himself, his side project Gaia, Super8 & Tab and others.
The first CD is titled On The Beach and is more subdued, melodic and downtempo for trance, while the second half of the LP titled In The Club is more energetic with some electro-tinged trance, festival sized cuts and tunes that up the tempo to 138 bpms.
The annual compilations set up Armin van Buuren's Armada Music for months to come with fresh extended mixes and remixes that can be released over the course of the summer. All packed into one, this compilation is a fan's dream with 39 of these tunes coming in two CDs.
