On the heels of his new release “Can’t Stop the Feeling,” Justin Timberlake is reportedly working on a new album. “Can’t Stop the Feeling” was his first new song in three years and was pulled from the new animated film Trolls soundtrack.

Timberlake also serves as the voice behind main character Branch in the film, slated to be released in November. There was additionally released with a "first listen" music video featuring the cast members of the animated film singing along to it. The movie also features talents Anna Kendrick, Gwen Stefani, James Corden, Kunal Nayyar and Icona Pop amongst others.

In an interview with Carson Daly as reported by Rolling Stone Timberlake said, “I don’t know exactly when I’m going to put it out but yeah, I’m definitely working on a new album.”

He further expressed that his roots in the south were a huge influence on the new material, saying, “I think where I grew up in America has a lot of influence. Growing up in Tennessee -- very central of the country -- Memphis is known as the birthplace of rock and roll, but also the home of the blues, but Nashville’s right down the street so there’s a lot of country music.”

Timbaland has insinuated that he has plans to pen a country album with Timberlake in past interviews, shortly after the “Drink You Away” performance with country singer Chris Stapleton at the 2015 CMA Awards.
