Drake generated quite a few headline on Monday. First he performed with Kanye West and Lil Wayne at his October's Very Own music festival in Toronto, and then immediately following the show posted a new song from his upcoming album "Nothing Was The Same."

The track, "Hold On We're Going Home" takes a disco approach to Drake's Marvin-Gaye approach to ballads. Fans will recognize the otherwise rapper's smooth croon from "Take Care," his smash featuring Rihanna. He's less than subtle with his language, telling his subject that he wants her "hot love and emotion, endlessly." The instrumentals sound of the last song played at a club in the late '70s: an electric drum kit and airy synthesizer chords accompanying Drake's echoing vocals.

"Nothing Was The Same" is set to drop on September 17, but Drake hasn't been shy about sharing songs from the album. Single "Started From The Bottom" has been a major presence on pop radio, and the rapper released five other tracks in one fell swoop during June. "All Me" was dropped last week. One has to wonder, after eight officially released tracks, how many more does he have to leave unannounced on the album?
