Kanye West released the first single off the highly anticipated compilation album with G.O.O.D music label artists, Cruel Winter. The single, "Champion," not only features West on the track, but seven other rappers, one who was just recently released from jail.

The Life of Pablo rapper took to Twitter to announce the release of the single that would be exclusively played on LA's Hip Hop 'N R&B radio station, 92.3 FM on June 3, during Big Boy's Neighborhood show.

The tweet quickly garnered the attention of several followers who tuned in to check out the new single which, according to BOOMPhilly, almost didn't happen after Cruel Winter was delayed for whatever reason. The colloaborative work is the second installment between West and his music G.O.O.D label artists, who released Cruel Summer back in 2012. The album featured hit singles "Mercy" and "Clique."

Though there was a slight delay before getting back into the studio and getting back to business, it may have all been well worth the wait with the release of the first single "Champion" which features, Travis Scott, Big Sean, Quavo, 2 Chainz, Yo Gotti and "Panda" rapper Desiigner, who was signed to the label back in February. The track also features Gucci Mane who was just recently released from the Federal Prison in Terre Haute, Indiana on Thursday, May 26, according to New York Daily News.

The rapper was released one week early after serving two years in prison for a firearm charge and has already hit the ground running to get back to what he does -- make music and make money. In addition to jumping on the compilation album's single, the 36-year-old is also working on a clothing line called Delantic.
