After a long wait, Rihanna and hitmaker Mike Will Made-It finally dropped a new song titled “Nothing Is Promised” which is already available for purchase on iTunes.

Their latest collaboration has an upbeat tone which is perfect for summer listening. The classic trap beat of the song has a summertime feel wherein Rihanna can be heard rapping about shopping in Paris and her love for money rather than for men.

“I’m in love with this cash I put that on my mamma and father. Aint’ none of this s— promised ain’t none of it promised,” Rihanna sings, according to Boombox. “I’ma never put a n—- above this money / I’ma wake up and just hug this money.”

Slate also noted that the song is a combination of Rihanna's "signature swaggering attitude and Will's thumping production."

The newly released song, which was delayed in February since Will worked on Beyonce's "Formation," serves as the official single of Will's forthcoming album, Ransom 2, which may be released soon after launching the collaboration song with Rihanna and producing the post-prison release of Gucci Mane, “First Day Out Tha Feds.”

Ransom 2 is a follow-up to Will's mixtape, Ransom, that was released in 2014. It featured guest appearances from Lil Wayne, Big Sean, DeJ Loaf, Future, 2 Chainz, Chief Keef and Gucci Mane. Will also teased the Rae Sremmurd collaboration, "By Chance," which will be incuded on the hip-hoppers’ SremmLife 2 and on Ransom 2.

Previously, Rihanna and Will teamed up for the song “Pour It Up” from Rihanna’s 2012 album, Unapologetic.

In another news, Rihanna was recently at a Barbadian getaway and was seen lounging on a swan float which soon capsized. But according to USA Today, the "Umbrella" singer sacrificed herself to save her wine, which was shared in a Snapchat video.
