Selena Gomez is coming up on a huge milestone in her musical career.

Pop Dust reports that the "Come & Get It" singer is gearing up to release her first greatest hits album and she's also working on to music to feature on the project.

The album is slated to be her final release under her long-time label, Hollywood Records.

Back in April, Direct Lyrics said Selena was out of contract with her label and that she was seeking a new management team. She went on to sign with Direct Management.

More currently, the site reports that Selena and the label have amicably reached an agreement in which Selena doesn't have to release an full-length original album with the label. Selena will instead release a compilation of her hits.

It has been confirmed that the album will be released later in 2014 around Christmas.

The album will include one or two brand new songs.

As MStars reports, Gomez has achieved a high level of success over the span of her short career.

Her list of hits includes:

"Love You Like a Love Song" sold 2,502,000

"Come & Get It" sold 2,300,000+
