Bow Wow announced that he is officially retiring from the rap and hip-hop industry. But before doing so, he intends to release his last album called NYLTH, which was produced by his mentor and fellow rapper Snoop Dogg.

Bow Wow, also known as Shad Moss, made the announcement through his Twitter account. Through a tweet on Aug. 7, the 29-year-old artist noted that he plans to retire from rapping before hitting 30 years of age.

According to E! Online, Moss then went on to say that he's pretty satisfied with what he has accomplished as a rapper. He debuted in the music scene at age of 13, back when he was still known as Lil' Bow Wow. Throughout his career in the music industry, he was able to go on 6 arena tours, and sell over 10 million albums.

"Made over $20 million off rap," he posted. "Why be greedy? I'm with everything I accomplished. I made it to the White House."

In an Instagram post, Moss said that he is currently working with Snoop Dogg for his last album. However, it is not yet clear when it will come out or which songs will be featured in it.
