Snakehips and Zayn Malik have released the music video for their viral hit "Cruel." Mailk stars in the music video, which finds him in a colorful room and club setting. The video uses quick and fancy camera work to switch between the club and small room spaces.

Malik starts out with two police officers arresting an individual on the trunk of their car and then inside the building right next to them sits Zayn cooing the romantic words of "Cruel" to some distant woman. The camera moves quickly from room to room, sometimes using Zayn signing on a television screen as a conduit. Dancers populate dark rooms as they show off their moves to the sultry Snakehips-produced beat. The scene eventually returns back outside to the man being arrested by the police as the picture fades to black.

The single came after Snakehips released their All My Friends EP, which included collaborations with the likes of Chance The Rapper, Tinashe, Anderson .Paak and Tory Lanez. The collaboration with ZAYN keeps the winning streak alive of big-time collaborators for the London-based production duo.

Malik has been a busy guy since his split from One Direction last year. He released his debut album Mind of Mine earlier this year and is starting to make his presence felt as a featured artist. According to EW, he has done that again with a new track titled "Freedun" with M.I.A. that will be featured on her upcoming album AIM, out in just about a month.
