In a move fit for a royal, Sir Paul McCartney met Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton before his show and her rally in Cleveland on August 17.

The Washington Post reported that Clinton’s motorcade arrived at the Quicken Loans Arena downtown and she met the former Beatle before his set. Clinton was in town to headline a rally at a local high school. Reportedly, the two talked about politics, their families and the Olympics. According to the U.K. Daily Mail, photographers weren’t allowed into the meeting and McCartney’s wife, Nancy Shevell, was present. McCartney posted a photo after their meeting with the caption “She’s with me.”

As reported by Billboard, Cleveland radio station WTAM had put a photo on their Facebook page and received mixed reactions from users. “I saw a huge motorcade of police on motorcycles, 5 black bummers and 4 white vans come speeding out of the parking garage near the Q this afternoon. Now I know who it was for,” read a post from one user. Another said, “I love Paul’s music but like him a bit less now.” But not all of the posts were negative and one read, “Great pic! Rock on Sir Paul!”

McCartney recently signed a worldwide recording deal with Capitol Records in addition for playing a concert for President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama in the East Room after he was honored with the Gershwin Prize for Popular Song six years ago.
