Following the release of Usher's raunchy "I Don't Mind," it's evident that R&B is missing something and singer Joe says his forthcoming album will fill that void.

During a recent interview with The Grio, he revealed that after taking a year off, he's ready to get back to the music and will be releasing his 11th album, Bridges

The "I Wanna Know" crooner describes his 16-track offering as "classic Joe."

He even mentioned a couple collaborations featured on the album, including one with Kelly Rowland titled "Love & Sex Pt.2."

"I consider her (Kelly) to be solid R&B, you know?" Joe said of Rowland. "She has the chops to sing any type of song, you know? Just like Beyoncé. They can sing literally whatever they want, in whatever key they want, so it was a no brainer."

Joe will also reunite with 50 Cent on his upcoming project.

"I believe when people hear that, they'll think this is the type of R&B that we were missing," Joe said on his third 50 Cent collaboration. "Because at one point, I felt that we bridged the gap between that hip-hop and R&B as opposed to R&B being hip-hop."

In the past, the two came together for 2004′s "Ride Wit U" and again for "Big Rich Town."
