Lil Wayne is still talking his alleged "retirement tweet" on the Skip And Shannon: Undisputed show. He also took the time to talk about his standing with fellow rapper Birdman. The interview took place with Skip Bayless and his co-host Shannon Moore, and Weezy's song "No Mercy" is even the theme music for the show.

Weezy didn’t get into heavy detail on the recent retirement tweet during the interview, only saying, “This was a tweet off of an argument over what’s going on. I was at my tipping point.”

He was also asked about just exactly where he and Birdman stand, the rapper said as reported by Billboard, “This is business. I have a family. I have kids. I have a mother. We have bills. Once the business is right, then the business is right. I did feel that way. I still feel that way. I didn’t take it down.”

Shannon then pressed him on more details on if he’d work with Birdman again if there was enough money involved, to which he said, “No. Give me mine and I’ll walk off free, smiling.”

He further went on to describe rappers such as Kendrick Lamar and Young Thug reaching out to him via Facebook, saying, “The artists I don’t know, the Kendrick Lamars and other people, I was like, ‘Wow, I didn’t know it mattered.’”

This is not the first time that Wayne has discussed the erratic tweet that made people think he was retiring from the music industry. In the tweet in question, Wayne described being “mentally defeated” and “defenseless.”

The tweet was posted following a run-in with the Miami Police Department, where they responded to a reported shooting at his home in Miami Beach. Local 10 News then released a report that said no victims or signs of a shooting were found on the scene. It is believed that the incident may have been a swatting prank, which is a hoax where an anonymous caller reports a false emergency.
