Galantis and Hook N Sling have released the music video for their new single "Love On Me."
The video is as fun and colorful as the song itself. Shot at a temple in Thailand, the video features a large group of monks dressed in bright neon pink, orange and turquoise robes performing coordinated dances throughout the temple. They walk up stairs, hang out in the courtyard and around the outside. It is all put together with varying kaleidoscope effects and other blending camera techniques to bring the colors to life.
The song itself is another strong track from Galantis & Hook N Sling. It has the pitched up, catchy vocals that one expects from Galantis with a hook "girl put your love on me / I feel it all around / I feel it all around / we'll be singing" that could be their next hit. It is an upbeat, fun dance-pop tune that emulates the success of past tracks like "No Money" or "Peanut Butter Jelly" and should perform like those.
This is the second collaboration released by Galantis in the past five weeks. They previously collaborated with dutch duo East & Young on "Make Me Feel" for the EDM film XOXO's soundtrack.
Beyond those two releases, it has been a quiet year for the duo that has toured over the summer, but otherwise has spent time on other projects during the year. They just announced a special Halloween show in Brooklyn on Oct. 29. Hook N Sling remixed Galantis' "Gold Dust" last year and also Miike Snow's "Genghis Khan" at the beginning of 2016.
