Eminem fans won't be happy about this... turns out that Slim Shady's highly-anticipated performance at G-Shock's exclusive "Shock the World" party in NYC will NOT be live-streamed online. Parts of the show will broadcast LIVE on the web at 8 p.m. ET on Wednesday (August 7), but not the segment where Eminem's supposedly set to debut "new music." What a tease!
An unofficial press release and Facebook update (recently posted by Mstars) initially prompted such exciting buzz:
The G-Shock event will be held at a top-secret NYC location, but fans can watch the performances live via the G-Shock website, according to Facebook:
G-Shock US:
"Get ready for the G-Shock 30th Anniversary 'Shock The World 2013' event - streaming LIVE on August 7th, 2013 at 8PM on G-Shock! #stw2013."
But if fans only planned on tuning-in to catch some awesome rap beats from Eminem's upcoming album, they'll be disappointed. Here's the Facebook update:
