Billy Corgan is suing pro wrestling company TNA and it’s parent company Impact Ventures, which had listed the rocker at it’s president earlier in 2016. The lawsuit remains sealed and there is a lot of mystery surrounding it.

Corgan’s lawsuit was originally reported by PWInsider, and it was filed in Nashville, naming TNA, Impact, and TNA owner Dixie Carter and husband Serg Salinas as defendants in the case. The former Smashing Pumpkins front man asked specifically that his lawsuit be kept private and the court will be forced to keep details of the case confidential. He also filed for a temporary restraining order in the case, which was given to him.

He was named president of TNA back in August and the company issued a press release announcing his instatement as handler of daily operations.

“In working with Billy over the last 16 months, he has impressed me to the point that I’ve been in discussions with him to take an elevated strategic leadership role within the company. The more we discussed our vision for the organization, the clearer it became that position needed to match his commitment," Carter wrote.

Corgan’s lawsuit is an about-face from his statement in the press release, which read, “I believe in this company, its passionate fans, the talented roster and the dedicated staff and crew. I am committed to this great opportunity and will use all of my resources and connections to drive the success of this company.”
