A previously unreleased single from Future and Nicki Minaj hit the web today, and the big name rappers are bragging about their "Rock Star" credentials. The duo spit fire in an unreleased track from Future's latest album Honest and they're not about to apologize for it.

"Rock Star" was a planned track for Future's April album Honest, but the sample from George Michael's "Careless Whisper" was unable to be cleared. Thus, the song had to be held up... until now.

The small sax sample from "Careless Whisper" aside, this song pulls from the "Rock Star" roots with a high note guitar riff, pulling from classic rock traditions. Future and Minaj live up to the cocky attitude of '70s and '80s rock here, with forceful rhymes and heavy flow.

Though billed as a Future song first, Minaj really steals the show. It's a classic brag track for Minaj, who understandably has a lot on her plate. "Be clear / Cover Marie Clare / Million dollar show in India, she's there / My own drink, Moscato Myx now / They've seen freaks so there's pasty on them tits now," she boasts, name checking her fashion influence, beverage line and arena sell-out ability.

Future similarly busts through on his verse, which comes after Minaj's in the song, but nothing quite matches her power... makes us look forward to her new album The Pink Print...
