Irish rockers The Strypes have announced their first release of new material since last year's debut, Snapshot. Titled 4 Track Mind, the album is due out digitally August 19 and will include the tracks "Hard to Say No," "So They Say," and the Paul Weller-produced "Still Gonna Drive You Home" as well as a cover of the Ramones' "Rockaway Beach."

This effort is the first release under their new partnership with Photo Finish Records and Republic Records. The band has also announced a string of U.S. tour dates in support of the new record with stops in DC, Philadelphia, and Cambridge.

The Strypes are currently at work on their sophomore LP due out in 2015.

If you aren't familiar with these hard-rocking youngsters, just ask David Letterman, who went crazy over their performance on his show. However, Letterman isn't the only one who really digs the band. Both The Guardian and The Telegraph have called these guys the saviors of rock 'n' roll. Even music snob Noel Gallagher has been seen at their gigs as well as Jeff Beck, Dave Grohl, Paul Weller, Roger Daltrey and Miles Kane. NME has named them the No. 1 band to watch, Zane Lowe shortlisted them for Hottest Record of the Year, and Elton John has called them "a breath of fresh air" with a "knowledge of R&B and blues at 16 years of age that I have only amassed in my 65 years."
