Meek Mill's erratic behavior may have just landed him in jail.

Yesterday (July 11), Vibe reported that the MMG rapper was sentenced to county jail time.

According to FOX 29, Meek's jail time stems from a local District Attorney's concern with the 27-year-old's behavior while he's on probation.

Reports have been floating around with conflicting statements on how much time he will serve. FOX says the rapper will serve 3 to 6 months, while hip-hop blogger Karen Civil says only 3 to 4 weeks.

Either way, it's sad new for Meek who recently revealed the release date for his forthcoming album.

Dreams Worth More Than Money is slated to be released September 9.

Upon announcing the album's release date, Meek came down on fellow MMG rapper Wale for not supporting his album via social media.

As previously reported, the "Burn" rapper went on to issue a series of tweets aimed at Wale, even calling him out by name.

Wale then responded to Meek on Instagram. "Few weeks ago. (7w) I posted this .but ok. Movin along . My Avi always changed when it's THAT time .. Ok that's not enough y'all see "razor ramon" post on his no. But I don't care.. I wrote a long ass post day before his single dropped .. Mariah record dropped nobody said a word I didn't care .. I still don't... I carry myself with confidence and humility ., I always try to have a lighter side to MMG.. Cuz I understand I don't "fit the mold" so if I'm tryna spruce an interview up to show that we not tryn be "serious tough guys" on the red carpet Or try to be a bit more engaging to broaden our audience forgive me . I never wanted anybody to think we take ourselves THAT serious. (Were rappers )I don't need to take anybody shine.. Or hate on anybody . I walk in a completely different world .."

But that wasn't the end of Meek Mill's Twitter rant. He sent out a few more tweets directed at some "dude from philly" and bragged about toting guns.
