LL Cool J becomes first rapper to receive Kennedy Center Honor

Originally forming in 2007, Krewella was the Chicago trio of sisters Jahan Yousaf and Yasmine Yousaf as well as their very good friend Kris Trindl (aka Rain Man). After dropping their 'Play Hard' EP in 2011, the trio gained instant fame and everyone wanted a piece of the Krew! Their single “Alive” from the EP gained massive recognition, getting airtime on radio stations around the planet!

Sadly just a few years later in 2014, Kris Trindl left Krewella to pursue his solo career as Rain Man. In 2016, Krewella, now just a duo consisting of the Yousaf sisters, evolved into a live rock, pop and dance act that wooed crowds around the world. The sisters truly continue their amazing journey as one of the hottest acts across the globe!

Today is a very special day for the sisters as they celebrate a very special anniversary. Seven years ago, they decided to quit school to focus fully on their lifelong dreams of making it big as Krewella. And today, they get to celebrate that anniversary with all of us through their absolutely stunning seven track 'New World Pt. 1' EP!

The album features three previous singles with "Team," "Be There" and "Love Outta Me" as well as four new singles with "Calm Down," "TH2C," "Fortune" which features Diskord, and "Parachute." So stream this absolute masterpiece below and grab the download via iTunes right here.
