A$AP Ferg and Ally Brooke team up for Lost Kings' new single, "Look At Us Now." The track is produced by Lost Kings. This is Brooke's first time doing a solo project without her group, Fifth Harmony.
The track talks about a relationship that has taken a turn for the worse. The trio is searching for an answer continuously as the song proceeds. A$AP Ferg confesses, "Don't wanna hurt, don't wanna curse, it be the girls like you that I won't wanna trust, lust. Really wanna come to, I don't really know how to run from you and I'm not here 'cause I want to be, I'm just here 'cause I want you."
Ally Brooke spoke to TeenVogue about the creative process of working on a new album with her group. She said the process has been greatly rewarding. She went on to say, "We are very happy with how it's coming along. We have all these ideas and visions, and they're able to come to life and our voices are being heard, which is really amazing. We haven't been able to ever write before on an album. So, this is very great for us to be able to express ourselves and be able to really collaborate with these incredible songwriters."
A$AP Ferg has been quite busy as well. Three days prior, he released a visual with A$AP Rocky for "Wrong." Back in February, A$AP Ferg discussed with Complex that he was working on new projects. He explained that there will be a follow up to Cozy Tapes. He admitted, "We coming out with Cozy Tapes 2: Too Cozy. That's done. It's getting mixed right now. I'm about to drop a new project called Still Striving, which his basically a continuation of Always Strive and Prosper."
