Dave Chappelle and Donald Glover are teaming up for a one-night-only show at New York's Radio City Music Hall. The event will take place on August 19th.

Chappelle and Glover's joint show is one of many for Chappelle, who has a 10-night residency lined up. Alongside the other nine nights, he will be joined by Erykah Badu, Chris Rock, Trevor Noah, The Roots, and Ali Wong. Complex reported that cell phones will not be allowed inside the venue and any violators will be escorted out.

In an interview with GQ Magazine back in 2014, Chappelle admitted why it was important for him to have a 10-night residency. He admitted that in a comedian's career, there are certain things to knock off your bucket list, this being one. He went on to say:

"I have a show-business bucket list. There's just certain things that every entertainer always dreamed of doing. When I was 19, I used to walk up Sixth Avenue and look at the marquee of Radio City. I'd see the lines outside. I'd be like, "Man, I just want to... Radio City!" So then, last year, when I started going on the road, it was just because I wanted to be on the road, at first. There's something cathartic about touring-it feels good to just engage people that way. But then, as it was progressing, I was like, "Well, this should all go somewhere. Where am I going with this?" It just so happened the venue was open during the same time frame I was willing to play. The venue opened up for an astounding ten days. And I said, "Well, can we do all ten? You know, can I even do that business? I haven't played New York in so long." I didn't want to pass up on the opportunity."

Recently, Donald Glover announced at the Governor's Ball that the next album he puts out, will be his last. He made the comparison while talking to HuffingtonPost of him releasing songs to bad movie sequels. He said, "There's nothing worst than like a third sequel, like a third movie and we're like, 'again?' You know, I like it when something's good and when it comes back there's a reason to come back, there's a reason to do that."

Overall, the comedic duo will definitely make this a night to remember.
