Today is the day all Jay Z fans have been anticipating for. Hov dropped his latest offering, 4:44, which is a Tidal exclusive. The work features Damian Marley, Vic Mensa, Swizz Beatz and more. Jay-Z, who recently welcomed twins, released his previous album Magna Carta... Holy Grail, back in 2013. That project featured vocals from Rick Ross, Frank Ocean and Beyoncé.

The world received a sneak peek of what the album has the potential to sound like when a snippet of "Adnis" released on Tidal. On June 18th, the lyrics to "Adnis" said, "Letter to my dad that I never wrote. Speeches I prepared that I never spoke. Words on a paper that I never read, proses never penned, they stayed in my head."

Damien Marley told Billboard that he was in the studio with Hov. He admitted that at the time he had no idea that he was working on Hov's album. He said, "We did some work in the studio recently and he wanted to come to Jamaica to get a tour of the place. He's been to Jamaica before, but never Kingston. So he wanted to come down to Kingston and asked us if we could have been there to show him around and give him a tour musically, in terms of our history in Kingston."

Marley also admitted to working on other stuff with the Magna Carta... Holy Grail artist. Marley said, "Well, I did some work with him for some stuff that he's working on. I'm not really sure of the details of his project in that sense, but we worked on some music together. I've been a fan of his music since he came out. We've never done any musical work together. So that was a joy to finally work together musically."
