Kanye West has been known for his always entertaining, and often controversial, appearances on TV for quite some time. And despite the popular belief that he's anti-reality television, it seems the Yeezus rapper had his hand in it well before meeting his now wife Kim Kardashian.

Kardashian, of course, stars in E!'s smash hit Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

In a new video nabbed by TMZ, it looks like West had a failed reality TV pilot back in 2010, which starred him alongside travel agent Brett Grolsch –– the "ultimate travel agent to the stars" as Grolsch called himself.

The video mainly glosses over the agent making West's travel plans, which leads us to wonder just why it was ever cancelled. Regardless, perhaps the most entertaining part of the video is Kanye's rant about airports.

"I'm trying to avoid airports at all costs," West says, "because people like to say really stupid stuff to me." He then jokingly corrects himself, calling his previous comment "politically incorrect." "I really like being in airports," he jokes. "I like people walking up to me and saying sh-t like, 'Are you Kanye West?' The whole time I'm on the phone and sh-t."

Back in the day, West used to apparently utilize his phone as a way of snapping at a fan without actually snapping at them. But as the years have gone and he's reached an immense amount of fame, it appears he's completely abandoned that method.

Thinking about it, perhaps the airport rant is the early stage of his now-famous on-stage raves. Nowadays, however, instead of ranting about airports, he talks fashion and paparazzi.
