Newly single “The Real Housewives of New York” star Luann D’Agostino has been spending her time post-split traveling. She jetted off to Europe for a family vacation after she spent time with her children in the Hamptons according to sources.
On Monday, Luann posted a photo on Instagram from her European trip. She captioned the snapshot with, “Just what the doctor ordered! #hiking #waterfall #timetomyself #happiness.” Luann wants to spend some time away from New York to disconnect from her divorce drama with Tom D’Agostino, Jr. People reports.
Luann announced her divorce from Tom on Thursday via the social media. She said, "It's with great sadness that Tom & I agreed to divorce. We care for each other very much, hope you respect our privacy during this sad time!" They have just been married for seven months.
Two weeks prior to the divorce announcement, Tom and Luann made headlines after a public argument at a New York restaurant a cording to E! News. She was even rumored to have slapped her then-husband. However, Luann was quick to dismiss everything as just an ordinary lovers’ quarrel and that they were “good” despite it.
The ex-couple wed on New Year’s Eve in Palm Beach where some of her “The Real Housewives of New York” co-stars were in attendance. Hours after her divorce was made public, Luann was seen in Sag Harbor, New York, without her wedding ring. The 52-year-old Bravo celebrity also switched her name from Luann D’Agostino back to Luann de Lesseps on both Twitter and Instagram on Monday.
It was Tom’s first marriage and the second for the “The Real Housewives of New York” star. Luann was previously married to French Count Alexandre de Lesseps for 16 years. They divorced in 2009 and have two children together.
