When “Jane the Virgin” returns for its fourth season on October 13, Rafael will be crashing on Jane’s (Gina Rodriguez) couch. This is after he got kicked out of Marbella. Meanwhile, Tyler Posey has been confirmed to appear in the upcoming season that premieres on October 13.

Rafael staying at Jane’s house will be quite overwhelming for her, with all the things he will be bringing with him. On the other hand, it will give him the chance to bond with Jane’s grandmother Alba (Ivonne Coll), who has always been in favor of him for her granddaughter.

Petra (Yael Grobglas), on the other hand, will have a number of love interests after her failed marriage to Rafael when “Jane the Virgin” returns according to TV Line. EP Jennie Snyde Urman teased that Petra will have a "great, twisty, turn-y love life this year."

Since the announcement of Posey’s appearance in the new season of “Jane the Virgin,” not much details has been publicized. Recently, Urman spilled some information about the “Teen Wolf” actor’s role will be reports Spoilers Guide. According to the EP, Posey’s character will be named Adam and he is a comic book and graphic novel illustrator.

"He's the same age as Jane, but their lives have gone in such drastically different paths that it feels like they're almost living different lives," Urman elaborated. She also described the character as prone to use his instinct more rather than logic.

Urman also revealed that Jane and Adam will connect on an artistic level although he has a different approach to life than she does. Urman thinks that it will be fun to see how Jane fits into his world. More importantly, Adam will remind Jane that she can do more with her life than being a mother.
